You'll be pleased to know that the PBCGA is the largest county amateur golf association in the United States! We are a non-profit organization supporting Junior Golf and awarding scholarships to needy and worthy college students.
The PBCGA has been able to provide over $120,000 through scholarships the last seven years to area college students. This is mainly because of our great sponsors. We would like to thank the Palm Beach Kennel Club, Arrigo Dodge Chrysler Jeep, Jack and Barbara Nicklaus, The Carl Sawyer Famil, Sheehan Realty Corporation, RootGel, John McDonald Company, Tire Kingdom and the Treasure Coast Dodge Dealers for supporting the PBCGA. If you know a child that is entering college and is in need of college grants, please contact us to see if they qualify for one of our many scholarships.
The 2008 schedule features a variety of tournaments. One to three day events, the Nicklaus Junior Championship, and our "Senior Series" provides terrific opportunities for competitive amateur golf. Because our championships always generate a waiting list, we encourage everyone to mail tournament applications as soon as possible; "first come, first served" is strictly enforced.
Encourage Your Friends to Join: Each of you know other avid golfers who may enjoy membership in the PBCGA, so we have included an additional membership for you to pass along to a friend.
Our membership guide will be mailed out in February. This will have all the tournament information and applications for the year. All paid members will receive the 2008 PBCGA bag tag and privilege program card by mid April.
Thanks for your continued support. We'll see you on the course.
