On June 30th, members competed in a Qualifying Round at PGA National on the Palmer Course. The top 32 finishers in each division qualified and were seeded for the Match Play Championship to be held at Frenchman's Reserve August 25-27, 2023

In the highly anticipated County Amateur, Jordan Elsen of Wellington, FL, emerged as the deserving champion, displaying exceptional skill and precision. Elsen's impressive scores of 67, 71, and 68 over the three rounds resulted in a total score of 206, putting him at -10 under par for the tournament while securing the victory by 4 strokes.

The Palm Beach County Golf Association has announced an Official Partnership with CURALEAF, a nationwide leader in providing patients with quality cannabis for health and wellness for the last decade.

Palm Beach County Golf Association Introduces Curaleaf as Title Sponsor for the Tournament to be held on August 12-13, 2023, at the prestigious PGA National Resort’s Fazio course. The event will be named the Curaleaf Classic Team Stableford.

Curaleaf, a leading provider of high-quality cannabis-based products, has shown an incredible commitment to supporting local sporting events and promoting a healthy and active lifestyle. This partnership between the Palm Beach County Golf Association and Curaleaf aims to bring awareness to the importance of holistic health and community engagement through competitive golf.

PBCGA is in search of local clubs to host a championship between April - October, 2024.

We understand that hosting a golf tournament requires substantial preparation, time, and resources. However, we believe the benefits of a championship would be significant. Not only it will bring in a great amount of golf enthusiasts from around the area, but it can greatly raise the profile of your golf course. Moreover, it can give your members as well as golf enthusiasts an opportunity to test their skills and compete against each other on some of the best courses in South Florida.

The Palm Beach County Golf Association is responsible for annually hosting 20+ successful golf tournaments bringing together some of the most passionate and talented golfers in the region. Across the 700+ PBCGA members the average handicap index is 3.3 guaranteeing the strength of fields for our championships.

Registration will stay open to all members during the 2023 Tournament Season and will close with the final regular season event at the Pro-Scratch Par 3.
