LumaCare Duo joins PBCGA as Official Partner

Athletic Recovery and Cold Laser Therapy company increases PBCGA support

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fl.
— The Palm Beach County Golf Association has announced an Official Partnership with LUMACARE DUO, a leading provider of cold laser therapy to treat acute injuries & chronic pain.

National Laser began manufacturing lasers in 1987 and quickly became one of the largest laser manufacturing companies in the United States.

National Laser established a commitment to product reliability and longevity from the beginning. In doing so they pioneered the replacement ion laser tube program for high-speed laser printing, semiconductor mask plotter, and color separation equipment, National Laser continued to provide a variety of lasers to manufacturers of DNA analysis, cell sorting, confocal microscope, and semiconductor wafer inspection equipment worldwide.

To meet the expanding requirements of customers, they developed a new type of Cold Laser system – one designed to maximize treatment effectiveness and improve patient outcomes.

A new brand and division of National Laser, LumaCare Lasers, was developed, creating an ultra pulsed therapeutic laser system:  the LumaCare Duo.

These powerful lasers are pulsed so the energy can penetrate the surface of the skin without burning or damaging it.

The LumaCare Duo is the first patented, FDA registered, articulating, dual head, therapeutic laser in its class. It is lightweight, easy to use, and very portable. The perfect size to take anywhere.

“We are excited to have Mike Weild and LUMACARE DUO as an Official Partner in 2022,” said Jordan Schneider, PBCGA executive director. “LUMACARE DUO has been a proven therapy helping our community of athletes recover and get back in the game. We are proud to grow and develop our relationship with Mike and the company.”

As a part of the Official Partnership, the athletic recovery company will be attending the remaining events on the PBCGA 2022 schedule. Participants are encouraged to check out the product on the practice facilities prior to teeing off and around the clubhouse post round.

Involved as a tournament supplier, LUMACARE DUO’s continued support provides the PBCGA tournament participants the opportunity to purchase product directly through Territory Sales Manager, Mike Weild (561-512-5080).

About PBCGA

Since its inception in 1976, the Palm Beach County Golf Association has been a cornerstone to the many excellent golfers residing in Palm Beach County. For those of you who may not be familiar with the PBCGA, we are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded by local business leaders in 1976. Our purpose is two-fold:  First, we conduct approximately 20+ tournaments per year. Our championships are the best of their kind anywhere and we strive to make them enjoyable for everyone. Second, we are committed to providing college scholarships to deserving and worthy students and to promoting amateur golf throughout the county. We are very proud of the fact that our efforts have made a difference in the lives of many area students.

Operated by Executive Director Jordan Schneider, the PBCGA along with a team of dedicated volunteers performs the day-to-day operations of the PBCGA from its Headquarters in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. The Association is served by an elected Board of Directors, headed by Chairman of the Board Michael Blum.

Purpose of the PBCGA

The PBCGA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a two-fold purpose:  First, we conduct approximately 20+ tournaments per year. Our amateur championships are the best of their kind anywhere and we strive to make them enjoyable for golfers of all ages. The PBCGA provides an opportunity for local amateur golfers to play the best golf courses in the county and affords access to the top golf venues in South Florida. Nearly 700 amateur golfers compete in PBCGA championships throughout the tournament season (March – October).

PBCGA Scholarship Fund

Since 1976, the Palm Beach County Golf Association has awarded over $460,000 to 185+ area college students to help with their college education. These scholarships have helped students pay for tuition, books and other fees so that they could be more dedicated to their studies.

Since 2010, the PBCGA has partnered with Take Stock in Children – Palm Beach County to provide tuition scholarships to attend the Florida state college of their choice. Take Stock in Children is a statewide mentoring/scholarship program. The program enrolls middle school, low-income students and helps them succeed by providing college and vocational scholarships, volunteer mentors, student advocates, early intervention and long-term support.

PBCGA History

For more than 47 years, the PBCGA and local South Florida businesses have partnered to provide the highest level of golf services to the Palm Beach County area. Continued support from local organizations such as the Arrigo Family, Tiger Woods Ventures, Jack & Barbara Nicklaus, Morell Studios, Palm Beach Kennel Club, Tire Kingdom, PGA TOUR and The Honda Classic is a testament to the longstanding support of PBCGA’s mission to give back. Assistance from local businesses, alumni and friends allows the PBCGA to dedicate more time and resources to programs that provide college scholarships to deserving and worthy students in Palm Beach County.
