25th Palm Beach Stableford (Sept 19-20, 2026)

2026 PBCGA Championship · Open, Senior, Super Senior & Legends

25th Palm Beach Stableford

September 19–20, 2026 · The Yacht & Country Club, Stuart, FL · Presented by Primoris Wealth Advisors

Tournament Honoree: Lenny Loyd (1948–2025). A longtime PBCGA executive board member, Super Senior Player of the Year, and 2025 PBCGA Hall of Fame inductee, Lenny gave decades to this Association on and off the course. The 25th Palm Beach Stableford is hosted in his honor.

The Palm Beach Stableford celebrates its 25th playing on Saturday, September 19 and Sunday, September 20, moving to The Yacht & Country Club in Stuart and welcoming a new presenting sponsor in Primoris Wealth Advisors. Now spanning four gross divisions with the debut of a Legends (70+) field, the Stableford remains the PBCGA’s one true test of aggressive, points-based golf — where a bold birdie is worth more than a safe par, and a single blow-up hole won't cost you the title.

Defending Champions

Open Division: Eric Cowles of Stuart enters as the reigning champion after outlasting a three-way tie at 84 points with a sudden-death birdie on the first extra hole last year at Hammock Creek. Cowles returns to defend on new turf at The Yacht.

Senior Division: Rich Buckner of Hobe Sound rallied from a modest Round 1 to a 43-point Round 2 for a 78-point title in 2025, and is back to defend.

Super Senior Division: Brian Hill of Palm City held steady across both rounds for a 78-point win and returns as champion.

Legends Division: New for 2026 — the first Legends (70+) field in Stableford history tees it up this year, with no defending champion to beat.

Host Course Spotlight

The Palm Beach Stableford heads to The Yacht & Country Club in Stuart for the first time — a waterfront Treasure Coast club that recently completed a multi-million-dollar course and clubhouse renovation under designer Tom Pearson, a 25-year veteran of Nicklaus Design. Five tee sets stretch the course from 4,040 to 6,574 yards, with a steady coastal breeze in play on nearly every hole and a signature leaning palm tree guarding the third. It's a fitting new stage for a championship built around bold, aggressive scoring.

About the PBCGA

Since its inception in 1976, the Palm Beach Golf Association has been a cornerstone for the many excellent golfers residing in Palm Beach County and beyond. Each season, the PBCGA conducts approximately 20 championships while promoting amateur golf throughout South Florida. As a 501(c)(3) organization, PBCGA is committed to providing college scholarships while supporting the growth and development of deserving and worthy Florida students — currently 25 students are receiving tuition scholarships thanks to member and sponsor support.
