Two-Man Scramble (Jul 18-19, 2026)
Midsummer in South Florida means one thing on the PBCGA calendar — the Two-Man Scramble Championship is back. On Saturday and Sunday, July 18–19, 2026, forty teams descend on Hobe Sound Golf Club in Hobe Sound, Florida for 36 holes of the most partner-dependent format in competitive golf. Pick your partner wisely. The scramble rewards teams that trust each other under pressure.
New this season — and worth noting — the Two-Man Scramble expands to four divisions, adding a Legends division (70+) for the first time alongside Open, Senior, and Super Senior. Every generation of PBCGA competitor now has a place in this field.
40 teams. Four divisions. Registration closes July 11.
Secure your spot before the field fills.
How the Scramble Works
New to the format or need a refresher? The Two-Man Scramble is simple in concept, deep in strategy. Here's how every hole plays out:
- Both players tee off on every hole.
- The team selects the best tee shot and both players play from that spot.
- This continues on every subsequent shot — including putts — until the hole is complete.
- The ball may be moved up to one scorecard length from its original position, no nearer the hole, to improve the lie.
- On the putting green, the ball must be played from its original resting point — it cannot be moved to a different cut or surface.
The format rewards teams that complement each other — a long hitter paired with a precise iron player, or a steady putter paired with someone who can scramble from trouble. Thirty-six holes over two days will test every combination.
