Post-Round Happy Hour Hosted by John Sanford
Following Round 1 at Eastpointe Country Club, all Senior Partners competitors are invited to a post-round happy hour hosted by John Sanford himself — the architect of the very course you will have played that day. It is a rare evening with one of the most accomplished golf course designers in the country, on the course that bears the signature of his firm’s craft. This is the kind of moment the PBCGA is proud to create.
You Know Their Work
John Sanford founded the firm in 1986. Over the four decades since, he and partner David Ferris have shaped more than 100 golf courses across the United States and around the world — from New York City and Boston to the Caribbean, Egypt, and throughout South Florida. Their philosophy guides every project: golf courses are a combination of art and science, each a composition of colors, textures, and properly functioning infrastructure.
For PBCGA members, the most meaningful part of their portfolio may be how close to home it runs.
The 2026 Senior Partners is played at Eastpointe Country Club — a Sanford Ferris design. There are few partnerships in amateur golf where the sponsor literally built the stage. We are honored that John Sanford will be in the gallery — and behind the bar — on August 8.
