Hall of Fame Inductions & Honors

PBCGA Announces Longtime Members to Join the Hall of Fame

 

The Palm Beach Golf Association is thrilled to induct its next class of honorees into the PBCGA Hall of Fame.  Pete Williams  of Juno Beach,  Robbie Dew  of Palm Beach Gardens,  Lenny Lloyd  of Stuart and  Abacoa Golf Club  will be honored in PBCGA’s storied history. Details of the formal induction ceremony and a banquet scheduled for this fall will be announced in the upcoming months.

 

In addition to the 2025 hall of fame announcements, the County Amateur trophy will be named in honor of the late  Kevin F. Butler, Sr.

The Park West Palm | July 11-13

Ultimate Showdown at the 2025 County Amateur!

PBCGA's Signature Tournament will return to The Park West Palm this July. Limited to 120 players, the  Annual Palm Beach County Amateur Championship sets the stage for South Florida amateur golfers to battle for the title as the best amateur golfer in Palm Beach County.

19th Annual Bobby Bryant Championship

Indian Spring CC - East | June 21-22

Stroke Play Event

The tournament will consist of a 36-hole stroke play format at the challenging Indian Spring Country Club - East Course in Boynton Beach, FL. This two-day event promises to deliver top-tier amateur golf action, bringing together some of the best players in the region for a weekend of competition.

 

Divisions: Open / Senior (50-59) / Super Senior (60+).

Hammock Creek GC | June 28-29

36-Hole Modified Stableford

 

Join PBCGA at Hammock Creek Golf Club in Palm City for the 24th edition of this great event. Continue to add points towards the season long point race by competing in one of three  separate gross divisions: Open / Senior (50-59) / Super Senior (60+). Tee it up in this fun risk reward format.

Shootout & Match Play Qualifier

PGA National - Fazio | August 16

Presented by Imperial, the Annual Mid-Am and Senior Match Play Championship provides an opportunity for members to test their game in a match play format. Open to all amateurs 25-49 (Mid-Am) and 50+ (Seniors).

 

18-Hole Qualifier / Seeding Round

August 16 - PGA National - Fazio

 

Match Play Championship

August 22-24 - Frenchman's Reserve

The Imperial Shootout (Match Play Qualifier) will be a MULTI-CONTEST EVENT.

 

In addition to being a true Qualifier and Seeding round for the Mid-Am and Senior Match Play Championship, the Imperial Shootout will also be a stand alone 18-hole Championship. A separate purse, points and skins game will be offered even if you plan to OPT OUT of the Match Play portion of the series.

 

Shootout Contest Divisions: Mid-Am (25-49), Senior (50-59) and Super Senior (60+).

 

Purse and Points will be awarded to all Player of the Year point races.

REMINDER: IF NOT EXEMPT IN 2025; ALL PLAYERS MUST TEE IT UP AUG 16TH TO QUALIFY FOR THE MATCH PLAY BRACKET

The mission of the Palm Beach Golf Association is to promote and support competitive golf for individuals of all ages in South Florida. In collaboration with golf courses, professionals, and local organizations, we work diligently to ensure the accessibility of competition for all residents of South Florida.

 

By fostering a culture of competition and camaraderie, we aim to make a lasting difference in the lives of golfers and strengthen our local communities on and off the golf course.

 



Together, we will unite the South Florida golf community, promote the values and traditions of golf, and enrich lives through the game we love.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we are also dedicated to providing college scholarships to deserving students throughout our community, with over 185 local students already benefiting from our efforts.
